Euclid

Euclid was an ancient Greek mathematician who is considered the "father of geometry". He wrote the Elements treatise which established the foundations of geometry and influenced mathematics for centuries. He also wrote works on perspective, conic sections, spherical geometry, number theory, and mathematical rigour.
