Sketching

Sketch (drawing)

Sketching is a rapidly executed freehand drawing that can be used to record something, develop an idea, or demonstrate an image. It is the most inexpensive art medium and can be done in any drawing medium, such as pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, etc. Sculptors may also use clay, plasticine, or wax to create three-dimensional sketches.
