Minimum Spanning Tree (MST)

Minimum spanning tree

Minimum spanning trees are subsets of edges from a connected, edge-weighted undirected graph that connect all the vertices without any cycles and with the minimum possible total edge weight. They can be used to find the least expensive path for laying cable in a new neighborhood or other use cases. Minimum spanning forests are unions of the minimum spanning trees for its connected components.
