Geometric Primitives

Geometric primitive

Geometric primitives are the simplest shapes used in vector computer graphics, CAD systems, and geographic information systems. Primitives can include points, lines, curves, polygons, and triangles, which are used to construct more complex forms. Primitives are also used in constructive solid geometry, such as cubes, cylinders, spheres, cones, pyramids, and toruses.
