Post-quantum cryptography

Post-quantum cryptography is the study of cryptographic algorithms that are secure against an attack by a quantum computer. It focuses on developing algorithms that are resistant to Shor's algorithm, which can solve the integer factorization problem, discrete logarithm problem and elliptic-curve discrete logarithm problem. Symmetric ciphers are considered relatively secure against quantum attacks, but key size must be doubled to block them.
