Secure communication is the practice of exchanging information between two entities without a third party being able to listen in. It requires the use of encryption and other methods to prevent interception, as well as legal and technical obstacles to limit surveillance. Trusted Computing is an approach that seeks to achieve security through trust in corporate and government bodies.
