Statistics is the discipline of collecting, organizing, analyzing, interpreting and presenting data. It involves designing surveys and experiments to collect data, as well as using descriptive and inferential statistics to draw conclusions from the data. Statistical methods are used to test relationships between two data sets and errors can occur due to random noise or bias.
