Geospatial Data

Geographic data and information

Geographic data and information, also known as geospatial data, refers to data that is associated with a specific location on Earth. This type of data is commonly stored in a geographic information system (GIS) and includes various types such as vector files, raster files, and web files. Spatial data, on the other hand, includes data with relevant geometry but may not be georeferenced, like in computer-aided design.
