Link layer

The link layer is the lowest layer in the Internet protocol suite and consists of methods and protocols that operate between adjacent network nodes. It is responsible for connecting hosts or nodes in a network and includes protocols such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and PPP. The link layer combines the data link layer and physical layer of the OSI model.
