Web3

Web3

Web3 is an idea for a new iteration of the World Wide Web which incorporates decentralization, blockchain technologies and token-based economics. It has been contrasted with Web 2.0, where data and content are centralized in a small group of companies. There have been concerns raised over centralization of wealth and loss of privacy, while others argue it is just a buzzword or marketing term.
