A constant-function market maker (CFMM) is a type of market maker where the amount of assets held in its inventory can be determined by a specific function based on the amounts of other assets. This allows for fixed wealth and liquidity, as well as known and fixed relative prices. CFMMs are commonly used in prediction markets and decentralized finance due to their predictable information costs and price exposure.
